This is so beautiful. I apparently have been living under a rock and only just recently hard of the burning man art. As someone who loves to paint, I looked for a book to provide inspiration and to teach me more about the annual art event. I bought the hardback book and it came in a really nice sleeve that the book slips into. The pictures are just unreal, they are so mystical, other worldly, and surreal. I love it.

This book is beautifully made. I got it as a gift for my boyfriend who is a veteran burner. It is very heavy and the box it comes in is rock solid. The pages feel very luxurious and the photographs are gorgeous. However your fingerprints will leave marks on the glossy pages. Nice collectors edition if you want to take a look back at the art of Burning Man.
As a former Burner, I am overwhelmed and delighted with the exceptional photos and historic information about some of the greatest events of my life. Went in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2005 and 2007. Would love to go again but at 78 it is a daunting possibility, but maybe.....
You can't appreciate the scale of Burning Man until you read this book. Honestly, the pictures make a once-barren landscape ethereal-with a hefty dose of humor in the mix.
Photos are top shelf, and the background text helps put it in perspective. An interesting coffee table book.
Incredibly beautiful book. If you haven't been to BM - this book will help you to visualize what it is about. If you have - it will help you to relive that experience again and again.
