I’ve done several of these models and up until now I have been very happy. Unfortunately the laser cuts of this model were off which made for a very frustrating experience. Half of the notches on the body panels were not cut correctly which made it nearly impossible to put together.The main draw of these models is that they snap together and I don’t have to use glue. I’m definitely going to have to use glue on this one. Disappointed.
Gift for my nephew who is 7 and he immediately opened it and started putting it together. Needed a little help with the pieces (even I had a little trouble putting them together) but overall it was a good buy. He still plays with the model and reads the book. Just know that the pieces can give you a little trouble when trying to fir them together.
Bought as a gift, great info in the book about the character.

This model was the first 3D Wooden puzzle that I have ever done, and it was easy (as an adult). I can see where there may be some hiccups for the those who may not be paying attention to specific instructions regarding angles, or if the alignment is off when sliding the pieces together- patience is key. Otherwise, the pieces lock together pretty solidly, they are made with thick enough wood that there is some durability. The price is good, and the puzzle itself is a decent size when fully assembled. I chose to leave the puzzle in it's natural wood color, but the details would be enhanced if it were colored by the user. I believe it took me about a half hour to assemble.
