Nicely written book covering important parts of trading and providing a potentially profitable system. I appreciated the authors encouraging writing style. There were a few typos but nothing that detracted from the content. A couple of points were unclear in the system however and it would be very helpful for the author to clarify these.1) when specifically is it safe to move a stop to break even?2) in which direction are we to assess the 60 pip differential in 8 LWMA and the close of the setup bar? For long setups should the close of the setup bar be a minimum 60 pips below the 8 LWMA and for a short the close of the setup bar be a minimum of 60 pips above the 8 LWMA?These questions may have obvious answers in the charts provided by my version of kindle did not allow me to zoom in clearly enough to be certain of these points.7/9/17 - Updated to 5 stars because of the authors quick response with answers to above questions.
I have the pleasure of speaking with the author. Good book. Simple trading system. It does not have a lot of technical information to bog the trader down. If the book is followed, good trades should follow. When I asked the author my questions, replies were quick, and answers honest. This is a good almost mechanical system to get you started on the path of profitability. I did not give the book a full five stars, because there is additional content that needs to be included to make the system perfect. That is NOT a detraction from the book. If the method is followed "as is", you will do ok. With some additions, explanations and trade filtering, this system could be one of the all time greats for it's simplicity, usability and profitability.
Having been around the trading industry since early 2000's have not come across such a detailed but very simple way of trading.The strategy outlines how to use long term charts, trade and spend a minimum amount of time doing so ie approx. 15 mins per day.This book has a detailed amount of information that is well laid out and would allow a novice trader to start simulated tradingvery quickly.Having spent many years trading 5,10,15 min charts, the one phrase that stuck out for me was that with this strategy was all about"time freedom" and having "your money work for you". In other words you are not trading "hours for dollars" using this strategy.A wise and low cost investment in trading information, simply laid out.
My trading method is very similar with your trading method. I have tested your method (H4 time frame) and it is possible to win 60 to 70% trades using your method. Exit method should be based on STOCH (14,3,5) or LMA intersection. Every Trader must read this book. If you follow this book, you don't need follow any complex system. This book is enough to earn consistently 12% in every month keeping mind risk only 1%.
Trading this method for a month, $500 profits on a $5k account, wonder if it will sustain but juz sharing my experience.
I backtested this method following the book on GBPUSD and it appears there are many trades that meet the criteria that Ayuk did not consider, most of these trades were losing trades. Even on her website the signal service seems to be performing abysmally and nowhere near the pips that the book claims. I stand to be corrected but I don't see how anyone can make money using this strategy.
It's legit. It's no joke. It's simple just follow the rules and you should have no excuse to not make money.
Awesome book. Will win 60 to 80% of trades of follow stratgey to the T! Strategy works on MT4 and tradingview for analysis and back testing.
