This was an interesting look at several artistic imaginings of the fall of House of Saul and David's ascension to the throne. This is not a story with words. Works of art by an assortment of famous sculptors and painters tells the story of Saul's decline and David's rise to power. If you are familiar with the biblical account of Saul and David this is an interesting book, filled with wondrous art.
These masterpieces, included in "Inspired by Art: Rise to Power" (many of which I had never seen before) added greatly to my enjoyment of the series. The David Chronicles,Uvi Poznansky, is a truly breathtaking epic. This art, and as the author notes, "arranged by the story moment-by-momecnt, blow-by-blow, as imagined by various artists," captures and enhances the saga. Wonderful.
This book has remarkable sculptures, paintings, and etchings through the ages depicting David and Saul from the Old Testament. This book one I will view many times. This book was free on Amazon when I “purchased†it.

This is one of the best novels series I read recently, for two reasons:First: because of the good writing, and second as a reminder of the best and favorite Bible stories that i love so much 🙂 I didn't want the story to end.
