First off -- this set is just as cute as it looks in the photos. Everything is brightly colored and true to the Pusheen art style. There are lots of little food accessories for them to snack on, and a couple of dress-up accessories.My low rating is for quality control. A few magnets came wrinkled or with bend marks, even though the actual box was in pristine condition. The pennant/banner thing had a huge bend in the middle. I requested a replacement set, but that one was no better -- the new banner broke in half when I picked it up! The replacement set had damage on the same magnets as my first set, so this must be a quality control issue. Pretty disappointing.A couple other minor complaints:-The reversible background is cute but pointless, because it's not magnetic. It also won't lay flat, since it comes folded to fit in the box. How are you supposed to put Pusheen and Stormy on it?-Pusheen can't wear her sunglasses. When I try to position them over her eyes, they wiggle around and land on her nose or ear. Must be something to do with the magnets' polarity?Now, some positive points:-This set is so cute. SO cute. They look like they came straight out of the comics. I get so happy every time I look at those tiny donuts and cupcakes.-The magnets are surprisingly strong! I was just going to use them as decor, but they could probably hold papers on your fridge.-Love how you can layer the magnets. I like putting a food item over the "Hi" in the speech bubble, so they're talking about pizza or something. Hey, it's silly, but it makes me happy.Overall, I'd say this magnet set is worth the purchase. If you have a Pusheen-lover in your life (or if it's you), this is a fun accessory that's simple to display and doesn't take a lot of space. Even with a few damaged magnets, it brightens my day.
This is a super cute magnet set. It has 32 pieces, I think, ranging from sizes small to tiny, and eveything from food to part gear to dress up pusheen and her friend. There is also a small, non magnet, two-sided backdrop made of a thick stock paper. All in all, this is a good quality set, and at $5, a good price too. The box says ages 6+, but I get the feeling a 6yo might easily lose some of the tiny pieces, so make sure you have a secure place for them to store them :)
This is a cute little thing, although a lot smaller than I was expecting (I guess that's what they mean by "Miniature Edition"). My oldest loves Pusheen and she really loves the magnets in the set. They're very cute and they seem to be ending up in the oddest places (if the magnets will stick to a surface, she'll Pusheen it up). Some of the magnets are really small, but there are a lot of them, and if you base the worth of a product on the amount of smiles it brings, then this is a bargain.My one gripe, and this is not a reflection of the set, is that something like this really just shouldn't be thrown in a bubble mailer. Ours was and basically arrived a bit crushed. None of the magnets were bent out of shape (although I probably was a bit), but if you plan on giving this as a gift, you'd probably be too if it arrived like mine did.
Really cute, it's a magnet set for the fridge or another metal surface. You can mix and match the pieces how ever you like. The GF and I enjoy silly things like this and are fans of pusheen, so if you are as well it's worth the $6. The scene board has to be used with something metal as a backing so the magnets can hold it up, the board itself is not metallic, so the magnets will not stick to it on their own.
This is a cute and fun magnet set. I think it would be best placed on a small portable magnetic board instead of a refrigerator. There are a lot of small pieces that a child could easily lose. The quality is decent, but some of the images on the magnets are starting to peel; I will have to glue them back down. The paper background scene needs a strong magnet to keep it flat.
Quite cute but the magnets aren't too strong to be able to stack magnets on top on each other (there are sunglasses for pusheen, etc), they fall when someone brushes against it
My kids are not allowed to play with this. It's mine. Seriously! I love Pusheen. I found a small, narrow magnetic dry erase board and hung it in my dressing room. It makes me smile every time I walk by. What Mom doesn't need a little lift in her day? Some of them are very tiny so it's definitely not for little kids. The background wouldn't stay flat on the board so I just put that above the dry erase board. I still give it 5 stars!
So the magnets (Stormy and Pusheen) themselves are fairly magnetic, however the food and accessories are hardly magnetic at all and will fall off when placed on stormy or pusheen.The background is just paper, but it's thick paper. It's not magnetic at all and non of the magnets are powerful enough to hold it a fridge/etc.Summary, Pusheen and Stormy are supe cute and useable, everything else is garbage.
