What happened to Rebecca and will it happen again?This book has grabbed me and sucked me in. Completely. I have come to love Stella, hate Sinclair and hope that she makes it out unscathed. I guess I have to wait and see... I hate cliff hangers.I have been very impressed with the authors writing. She paints a picture with each chapter. Details in her writing make me feel like I'm the story. She paints a picture for the reader to see.Well done story.

There were deja vu moments that I knew were coming, but still gasped in surprise, as if they'd snuck up on me, wrapping a hand around my throat and stilling my breath. In the midst of the hell that Stella was desperately clawing to stay afloat in, Author Celia Aaron wrote in some characters who provided a light breeze and hope. They were my points of oxygen, where I could relax for a moment and dream of a happier time for the heroine who had been a picture of strength and bravery. These points of relaxation come to an abrupt end as soon as I ventured into the final five percent. Nothing could have prepared me for the stifling shock that awaited. Book three cannot come soon enough!"I need you to come back to me."
3.5 STARS This picks up where book 1 left off. Quite frankly most of the people in this book are sick and twisted. Our heroine is bold, brave and in a situation she can not win. Sinclair AND his brother are determine to win the game at ANY cost. The problem with that is our hero and heroine love each other. But one is willing to do ANYTHING to win and that means the other will suffer TERRIBLE things. Can he win the game and keep her safe from the animals that controll this game??? There is a Major cliffy at the end of this one. HUGE....and perhaps explains why Sinclair Must win the game..I'm off to read book 3.
Magnate comes on strong for round 2 of the Acquisition series. I usually find that book 2 of a series is not a favorite for me but that is definitely NOT the case here! Magnate focuses more on Lucius's part in the Acquisition with Stella but never forget Sin doesn't break promises. If you can endure the darkness throughout the story (and it may be hard to read) you will continue to fall madly in love with all of the hot and sexy Vinemont men and their Stella. I can not wait for Sovereign!
Ummmm hello that shizzzzz was intense......I don't know if I should love Sinclair or not......I know for sure Stella does.....and he loves her as well although he won't admit it. I am having some major anxiety over this next book coming out. I love this story so much.......it keeps you guessing and wanting more. This series is a much read.....Sovereign (shameless plug) comes out April 28, 2016.....ya'll need all three of these books in your life!
Part two of this trilogy does not disappoint. There is no way to avoid becoming involved with the souls in this sordid tale. Cheering for the bad guy is not normal for me, but I find myself desperately wanting his salvation.
This book two took me to the dark places of the Acquisition. You just never know where you are going next. I will have to admit, it might be a bit much for me but have to read book 3 to find out the ending!
When you thought Counselor took you to the depths of a dark, intense places, here comes Magnate. The twists, the revelations, and the love - hate relationship of Sin and Stella. You just can't get enough of them or The Vinemont Brothers. It's a dark romance that is intense and suspenseful and doesn't disappoint. Writing so well done that it draws you in for more. loved it!
